GoodWe launches scalable C&I battery storage with 1.1C continuous discharge rate and 112 kWh capacity

GoodWe have launched their new storage solution for Commercial and Industrial (C&I) applications. The BAT112 was first introduced at the Intersolar Munich exhibition in May 2025 and offers a storage capacity of 112.6 kWh with a continuous charge rate of 0.9C and a discharge rate of 1.1C. Paired with GoodWe’s ET hybrid inverter, the system delivers efficient energy backup, peak shaving, and optimized load management. The BAT112 provides a flexible and scalable solution, allowing up to 4 batteries in parallel operation for up to 450 kWh system capacity with an ET40/50kW hybrid inverter. For even bigger demands, up to 10 hybrid inverters can be paralleled with the SEC3000C smart energy controller for a configuration of up to 500 kW and 4.5 MWh capacity.

The excellent performance ratings of the BAT112 can be attributed to the thoughtful design, focusing on safety and reliability. The high quality LiFePO4 battery cells provide high cycle stability and maintain ideal condition due to the integrated HVAC system for cooling, heating and dehumidification. The fast energy delivery of the system combined with a life expectancy of 6000 cycles at 90% Depth of Discharge (DOD) and 70% End of Life (EOL) capacity, positions BAT112 for demanding industrial applications.


Safety and reliability that business needs


The layered safety concept begins at the cell level with selection of top-brand battery-cells, full electrical protection covering short-circuit, over-current and lightning as well as insulation monitoring. The battery cabinet can be deployed inside or outside in most environments and has a C4 corrosion resistance rating or optional C5-M rating as well as IP55 protection rating. In case of an emergency, the aerosol fire suppression system on pack level and cabinet level can be triggered through a redundant system, containing smoke and temperature detectors as well as thermistor wire.

GoodWe are offering a five-year product warranty and ten-year performance warranty (terms apply) for BAT112. Due to the high quality of the components, the manufacturer also claims that the energy storage system allows for up to one year of maintenance-free storage without risking battery degradation.
