The Next-Generation Smart Energy Management App from GoodWe

GoodWe launched their new Smart Energy Management System SEMS+, combining functionalities for product management, comprehensive generation and consumption data visuals, and optional AI supported operation. Functionality of the app includes dynamic export optimization to avoid negative prices, allowing customers to get the most out of their electricity contracts in combination with local generation, storage and connected loads. The app also fully supports smart power import and export management when combined with GoodWe’s residential AI solution EZManager3000. The new SEMS+ can be managed via App or Web-Portal on any browser, connecting diverse energy assets into a cohesive network with smarter control.
A New Vision
SEMS+ represents a full redesign of GoodWe’s software system, offering a unified energy management center for the GoodWe EcoSmart system. The application debuts a new interface with modern visual language and a reflection of real-world conditions such as weather and usage scenarios. Seamless Light and Dark Mode switching provides optimal comfort.
SEMS+ delivers consistent experience across devices by aligning Web and App interfaces into one system. Beyond visual consistency, the platform adapts to different user needs: system owners gain a clear view of energy flow and assets, while installers benefit from a station-focused command center for efficient system management. Whether managing a single rooftop or a global portfolio, SEMS+ keeps the most important insights easy to see and act on.
Ecosystem Integration
SEMS+ acts as a central hub that integrates over 13 device categories, spanning both the GoodWe ecosystem and compatible third-party equipment, providing clear and intuitive visibility into connected assets.
Building on this detailed device-level transparency, the platform enhances system management with station-centric unified control. Operators can manage the entire station as a single, coordinated system, enabling centralized controls across all assets in compatible parallel or mixed-parallel setups. This ensures precise, synchronized management without the hassle of individual adjustments.

AI Agent: Integrating a "24/7 AI Agent," it streamlines interaction through natural language queries. Users can bypass complex menus and simply ask to check system status or receive instant, step-by-step troubleshooting guidance from the technical knowledge base.
AI Scheduling: Beyond support, the GoodWe AI engine maximizes economic value through AI-powered smart scheduling enabled by the EZManager3000. The EZManager3000 is GoodWe’s new residential AI solution, unlocking the full potential of smart energy. By learning daily consumption habits and analyzing weather forecasts alongside tariff data, it automates energy arbitrage—replacing rigid schedules with dynamic battery management to significantly enhance energy self-sufficiency and maximize cost savings.
AI Health Diagnosis: SEMS+ also ensures comprehensive protection with AI Health Diagnosis. A simple "One-Click Checkup" deeply scans your plants, inverters, PV strings, and batteries. Designed for operational clarity, SEMS+ ensures critical data accuracy with a 10-second refresh rate for key-data and fast remote-control response, keeping you always in sync with your stations. Driven by this accuracy, SEMS+ transforms complex energy logic into clear visuals—featuring Energy Flow Diagrams, Sankey Diagrams, Heatmaps, and other professional charts to provide deeper insights into every energy flow.
For professionals such as installers and O&M providers, SEMS+ enables multi-dimensional analysis. Users can flexibly conduct Station vs. Station or Device vs. Device comparisons to identify anomalies faster than ever. For deeper diagnostics, SEMS+ integrates AI-driven IV Curve Diagnosis and Battery Consistency Analysis to rapidly pinpoint issues and maximize O&M efficiency.
End-users can rely on secure operation of their devices managed with SEMS+, allowing them to display a detailed operational log including external access attempts. The app allows the user to block any control attempt from outsiders.
