Position Title: Legal Counsel (m/f/d)

Office: Munich (Germany)

Your mission

We are looking for a skilled and proactive Legal Counsel to join our team on a full-term contract. In this role, you will support the business by providing practical legal advice across various areas, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations, and managing legal risk. This position offers a unique opportunity to gain experience in a dynamic and international environment while making meaningful contributions to the legal function.

Your main responsibilities

  • Provide legal support and advice on a broad range of legal matters including commercial contracts, corporate governance, compliance, and regulatory issues.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate various agreements such as sales, procurement, service, confidentiality, and partnership contracts.
  • Assist in ensuring the company’s compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies.
  • Support internal stakeholders across departments (e.g. HR, Sales, Finance, Operations) with day-to-day legal queries.
  • Manage legal disputes or claims in coordination with external counsel, where needed.
  • Monitor legal developments and assess their impact on the business.
  • Assist with corporate documentation, board resolutions, and legal filings.
  • Support in M&A activities, restructurings, or other strategic initiatives, if applicable.

Your Profile

  • Master’s degree in Law; admission to the bar is preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of legal experience, ideally in a corporate in-house role or reputable law firm.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial and corporate law; understanding of regulatory and compliance issues.
  • Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Proactive, business-oriented, and capable of working independently.
  • High level of integrity and professional ethics.
  • Fluent in German and English (both written and spoken).
 
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in renewable energy and / or manufacturing.
  • Exposure to international legal matters or working across jurisdictions.
  • Familiarity with data protection laws (e.g., GDPR) and/or compliance programs.
