The fourth generation of GoodWe’s DNS single-phase inverter with dual MPPTs is a powerful and compact solution for residential solar installations. Designed to support the latest high-power PV modules, the DNS G4 allows up to 200% PV oversizing and 20A input current per string. It offers superb compatibility, flexibility, and easy system expansion with MS G4 series via the EzLink3000 smart dongle – with no need for a datalogger. DNS G4 is quiet (<25dB), lightweight, and cyber-secure. Optional features include AI-driven Arc Fault Circuit Interrupter (AFCI) 3.0, built-in Rapid Shutdown 2.0 transmitter, and Type II SPD on both AC and DC sides. With wide voltage range, modular design, and smart meter integration, DNS G4 delivers optimised performance and highest safety standards.

The DNS G4 series enables flexible residential PV system expansion by mixing inverter sizes (DNS G4 + MS G4) with seamless communication through the EzLink3000 smart dongle. This no-logger-required setup simplifies installation, reduces costs, and supports parallel connections up to 10 inverters. A streamlined internal layout (same AC terminal, COM port, and design language) also eases stock and service handling.

The DNS G4 inverters allow up to 200% oversizing and 20A input per string, ideal for newer high-current PV modules (182/210mm). A wide voltage window ensures generation starts earlier and lasts longer each day. Dual MPPTs offer excellent shading tolerance and string flexibility, improving daily energy harvest while lowering LCOE.

DNS G4 offers industry-leading safety features: optional AI-driven AFCI 3.0 for faster and smarter arc detection, Rapid Shutdown 2.0 with built-in transmitter for firefighter safety, and Type II Surge Protection Devices on both AC and DC sides. The inverter also includes built-in cybersecurity, meeting modern digital protection expectations.
