At Intersolar Europe 2026, GoodWe presented the most comprehensive demonstration of its Generation-Grid-Load-Storage-Intelligence strategy to date. The company showcased an integrated energy system spanning residential, commercial & industrial, and utility-scale applications.
Across all three segments, the company highlighted how distributed generation, intelligent energy management, flexible storage and electrified loads can work together toward a smarter and more independent energy future. Key highlights included the debut of GoodWe's utility-scale energy storage portfolio and expanded commercial & industrial storage solutions designed for greater operational flexibility. On residential side, the manufacturer highlighted an increasingly integrated energy platform built around the evolving needs of energy prosumers.
Complete Implementation of Generation-Grid-Load-Storage-Intelligence
To address diverse residential energy needs, GoodWe showcased a comprehensive portfolio of solar-plus-storage solutions centered around the ESA family. The lineup featured the All-in-One ESA Series, integrating inverter, battery and backup functionality into a unified platform for mainstream residential applications, alongside the ESA Athena S3 micro-storage system designed for balcony and DIY scenarios.
Complementing the ESA portfolio, GoodWe also presented its next-generation low-voltage residential solar-plus-storage solution, engineered to support a wide range of energy resilience requirements, including backup power, off-grid operation and residential microgrid applications. Together, these integrated solar-plus-storage solutions empower households to maximize self-generation, enhance energy resilience and achieve greater energy independence.

Upgraded Electrical Loads and Smart Energy
The company introduced their third generation of EV chargers, the HCA G3 Series, featuring vehicle-to-grid (V2G) readiness and a perfect fit with Vela Series, the solar carport from GoodWe. Another central energy load in the residential sector is covered by the manufacturer’s self-manufactured heat pumps.
GoodWe's intelligent energy management architecture is connecting the entire platform. Through HEMS, SEMS+, smart meters and dynamic tariff gateways, homeowners can optimize energy flows across generation, storage and consumption, laying the foundation for more intelligent and responsive energy management.

4S Storage System 'ESA' Shouts with Industry Milestones and Recognition
The company continued to advance best practices in residential energy storage. Their flagship ESA series once again became a key highlight of the show, following its early launch across Europe this year.
Built around the 4S philosophy of Silent, Smart, Secure and Simple, ESA combines inverter, battery and full-backup functionality in a single All-in-One system designed to simplify residential energy management while enhancing energy independence.
During the exhibition, GoodWe officially launched the industry's first Acoustic Performance White Paper for PV+ESS systems, providing a new framework for evaluating user experience in residential energy applications.
The ESA Speed-Install Challenge that happened on 23 and 24 June gave installers the opportunity to experience ESA's simple installation under real conditions. The winning team completed the full ESA installation in just 2 minutes and 27 seconds.
ESA's user-centric design was further recognized by TÜV Rheinland through the industry's first Household Energy Product Usability Certification, covering installation and serviceability.

Expanded C&I Storage Delivers Greater Flexibility and Energy Resilience
For commercial and industrial applications, GoodWe presented solutions designed to improve operational flexibility, energy resilience and long-term economic performance.
A key highlight was the combination of the ETR 125 inverter with the BAT-C 200 liquid-cooled DC-coupled battery system. The ETR 125 is a battery ready inverter that can be installed and used in a grid-tied application and combined with the BAT-C 200 battery system at a later project stage. This is possible due to the DC/DC converter being integrated into the battery cabinet, instead of the inverter. This design offers a lower cost entry point to solar for commercial operations and allows customers to adjust to growing demand without having to replace equipment. The integrated DC/DC technology of BAT-C 200 allows for flexible system expansion, enabling businesses to increase operational reliability in grids with increasing risks of fluctuations and failures.

Highlights at the GoodWe booth included the new BAT-C Series with ETR125 inverter and a refresh of the ESA Series 125kW-261kWh
The company also demonstrated its microgrid and grid-forming capabilities, enabling critical loads to remain operational even under challenging grid conditions.
GoodWe also offers heat pump products in the commercial space. With full system integration and high efficiency, GoodHeat R290 Commercial Air-to-Water Heat Pump in the 50 to 100 kW power range were exhibited.
Utility ESS Debut Expands Large-Scale Project Capabilities
Intersolar Europe 2026 marked the first presentation of GoodWe's utility-scale energy storage portfolio, representing a step forward for the company's large-scale energy capabilities.
The portfolio included both 2 MW/4 MWh containerized AC blocks with matching MV stations and 5 MWh string ESS solutions designed for utility-scale deployment. Combined with advanced grid-forming PCS technology and turnkey MV integration, the solutions provide utilities, developers and EPC partners with a scalable and deployment-ready platform for large-scale renewable energy projects.
Alongside energy storage solutions, GoodWe also highlighted UT Series utility-scale string inverters, which have already been widely applied in global utility PV projects. With this expanded portfolio, GoodWe aims to support utility-scale projects with solutions that enhance system reliability, simplify deployment and create long-term value throughout the project lifecycle.

Advancing Europe's Prosumer Energy Future Through Collaboration
Reflecting the collaborative nature of the energy transition, GoodWe signed a series of strategic cooperation agreements with partners across energy management, distribution and project delivery during the exhibition.
These partnerships further enhance local delivery and service capabilities and accelerate the deployment of integrated energy solutions across European markets. They also reinforce GoodWe's commitment to building an open energy ecosystem that connects technology providers, channel partners and end users around a shared vision of the future energy system.
"Europe is a key market for GoodWe to build the platform for energy prosumers," said Jie Zhang, Managing Director of GoodWe Europe. “With more than a decade of presence in the region, we are continuing to expand our local organization, service network and technology capabilities, while advancing our Generation-Grid-Load-Storage-Intelligence strategy to support the evolving energy system in Europe, where energy users are increasingly becoming active participants.”
